The opportunity to serve as the hands of Christ, and promote justice, peace,
and well-being for those in need.
Provide food items for parish events and outreach activities. On an as needed basis.
Provide care, support and understanding for anyone grieving a loss. Sessions are held as need arises.
Provide spiritual, social, and financial support to the parish and greater community through monthly meetings and events.
Events, concerts, plays, fundraising and gatherings are just some of what we have planned for 2025!
We generally meet on the first Thursdays of each month alternating the time (10:00 am and 5:00 pm).
Our next meeting is March 6, 2025 at 10am in Grellinger Hall.

Provide support and assistance to the family during the visitation and funeral liturgy.
Set-up, serve, and clean-up luncheons held after a funeral. Called on a rotating basis.
Parishioners donate casseroles, salads and desserts that are served by volunteers during a funeral luncheon. Called on a rotating basis.

Connect with homebound parishioners by phone or in-person visit.
Repurpose plastic shopping bags by making and crocheting “plarn” into sleeping mats for those in need. No experience needed. Meets monthly.
Pray for the special needs and intentions that are requested by fellow parishioners. Requested intentions are forwarded via email.
Combine compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting into a prayerful ministry that helps those in need of comfort and support, as well as in celebration and joy. Meets monthly.
Raise awareness of life issues to foster a culture that cherishes, defends, and protects every human life from conception to natural death.
Focuses on a spiritual approach with prisoners who desire to understand and strengthen their relationship with God.
Donate requested food items to our SVDP Meal Program. Requested bi-monthly.
On the third Thursday of alternating months, parishioners are asked to donate food for the Meal Program. You get to choose your donation.
Whether you donate the main entrée, 3 dozen homemade cookies, or an institutional size can of vegetables, all donations are important.

Transport to and serve prepared food at the SVDP Milwaukee Southside meal site. Serves bi-monthly.
Sign up to serve at the St. Vincent de Paul South Side Meal Center at 10th & Madison in Milwaukee.
Serve the poor in the Pewaukee area (in association with the Waukesha County SVDP) by meeting with those in need and distributing financial assistance, food, and clothing donations.
Use your vocal and/or musical talent as part of the traveling sing-a-long group that visits area nursing homes and senior centers. All are welcome.
Adults study and discuss the liturgical needs of the parish and plan according to the liturgical season.
The Human Concerns Commission meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6pm in Grellinger Hall.
